Word Up’s mission is to bring pro and amateur writers in Simcoe County together in an encouraging environment to perform their original work. Writers can learn from pros to further their vocation.

Poets, spoken word performers, rappers, comedians, musicians, motivational speakers and anyone who loves the magic of language is welcome to join this group. We will be meeting monthly at Unity Market here in Barrie to read, to perform and to share our art.

Their next meeting will be on March 14th from 7pm-10pm at Unity Market in Barrie.
